Democrats and the Left have long failed to take fake news seriously. They've derided and insulted Trump for using the term, and insist that all journalists are hard-working, honest individuals. Rather than peddling lies and slander, the media simply speaks truth to power.

Now, though, it seems that Democrats are finally taking the scourge of fake news seriously. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler has announced that Democrats will begin investigating the scourge that is fake news.
