A local weatherman Lynden, Washington said this was the worst winter storm he has seen since December 2008. Multiple reports of around 1 foot of snow have come in around Whatcom County. There were some 6 foot tall snow drifts on the southeast side of town. The Nooksack River also had a lot of chunks of ice floating down it. We also saw a vehicle that slide into a ditch and had drifts around it.
