In today’s video, I am running the Eastonmade splitter with the 6 way wedge in the log yard. Start with the log; cut it into rounds; and then split the rounds into firewood. I had a little fun with the sound effects on the video, but I will be doing a detail video soon. Just a quick visual of my favorite splitter in action. If you’re thinking of getting an Eastonmade splitter, I highly recommend the 12-22. - Chuck
Equipment in this video:
Eastonmade 12-22 splitter with 6 way wedge
Bobcat S250 wheeled skid steer with grapple bucket
Stihl Chainsaw MS461

Thank you so much for your support!
My wife and I are full time homesteaders in the Appalachian Mountains of south-central Pennsylvania. The Make Some Dust channel is dedicated to more details on the sawmill, firewood, and wood shop operations at our homestead. Thank you so much for joining the channel. I hope to bring some of what I’ve learned over the years to the community. I am hoping to learn some new skills, too. Life is a journey. Here’s to the future! -Chuck
