As the name suggests, they’re a group of conditions that can occur in a person whose mother consumed alcohol during pregnancy. Its considered the world’s no 1 disability & the most concerning part is there’s almost no awareness or recognition globally about it! And around 87% of the time its misdiagnosed!
However there’s hope & it begins with awareness! And to bring about a wide spread awareness. There’s a feature-length documentary film in the making called ‘Embraced' In this episode we have 2 very special guests. Joel Sheagren, the director & co-producer of Embraced. Along with Cedrick Terrell, who is also the co-producer & public health advisor at Embraced.
