2020 Mortality Statistics and Baby Boomers

The question of the nature, existence, gravity of the covid-19 scare is founded in mortality statistics, whether more people died in 2020 than other years.

The Baby Boomer generation born after WWII, were a large cohort, a relatively large number of people being born, in the 20 years after 1946. The oldest Boomers are now 75, and since human life is on average about 70 years with an approximate 10 year standard deviation, (dependent on the country one lives in), many Boomers are rapidly dying off, due to simple old age.
