Halo Infinite - How Could You Not Beat Him?

Halo, it doesn't need much introduction does it? The most basic bitch of all franchises (apart from a certain aquatic animal) but damn if it isn't repayable.

You play as an indestructible super-formerchild-sortofstillaslave-soldier on a mission to kill everything that isn't human. Well, except for all those times where he killed humans who were rebelling against what could be described as a mix of Palpatine's Empire and Initech from Office Space.

As the most recognizable helmet in the United Nations Space Command you go out there and crack some alien skulls, step on creatures a third of your size and generally follow the philosophy of "Its not a war crime if there's no-one left to convict".

Gameplay throughout the series has followed a basic FPS linear format of using different weapons and tactics for a small number of enemy types - but especially in Halo 2/3 there's enough variety to keep things interesting.

Halo infinite definitely upped the bar on this by including the grapple-shot, which apparently wasn't considered useful enough until now despite it literally negating the need for anything except a pea-shooter. Seriously, it can stun enemies, knock shields away, climb to high ground (*Anakin cries in distance*) , hijack vehicles - or just fling yourself away from danger and boop a few grunts in mid-air.

Yeah, I know, the fee-fee stuff they tried didn't work, just play the damn game.
