This nice standard served as the Royal Standard of King Henry VIII during his campaigns on the Continent. The standard features the Red Dragon of Wales - a symbol of the House of Tudor, the Tudor Rose - a combination of the White Rose of York and the Red Rose of Lancaster, established when King Henry VII of Lancaster married Elizabeth of York, uniting the two houses that had formerly warred in the Wars of the Roses.
Also featured on the standard is the St. George's Cross, a popular symbol of England, the Fleur-de-Lis - representing the claim of the sovereigns of England to that of the throne of France, something they maintained into the 18th/19th centuries. Inscribed on the standard is "DIEU ET MON DROIT" - "GOD AND MY RIGHT", the motto of the Royal Family.
The music pieces are the Opening Credits theme of "A Man For All Seasons", of my favourite films ever, and the alternate, original theme, which the director didn't quite like, since it sounded too jolly for the opening credits scenes.
