No longer very easy to find, this Channel 4 UK documentary was aired in 2004 in an attempt to debunk the conspiracy theories surrounding the 9/11 attacks. The final half featuring the Dancing Five Israelis aka The High Fivers gives the entire game away & that might be why it's so difficult to find information about this broadcast.
Clearly, these five guys parked their van & set up their camera's in advance of the first WTC plane impact, & they dressed as Muslims to publicly celebrate the attacks in an attempt to implicate Muslims in the attacks. They did so from the carpark of a huge New Jersey apartment complex with many Muslims & other immigrant residents. No real Muslims or Arabs were caught in any official way celebrating the 9/11 attacks anywhere on the continental USA. The only "Muslims" ever actually arrested turned out to be five clean-cut Israeli's dressed as Muslims. For some unknown & unexplained reason, New Yorkers were stopping their cars to spit & swear at these guys as they were being arrested, which suggests strongly that they were STILL dressed as Muslims at that time.
If anyone can provide evidence of the actual date of this broadcast in 2004, we at AN would be very grateful.
We believe this is an episode of Channel 4's Dispatches documentary series directed/produced by Polly Morland & broadcast in September 2004.
We were pleased (& surprised) to find a recent, 9 month old upload of this, on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2mai9XlNws
But we were disappointed to find no reference to this episode on IMDB etc. The internet has been scrubbed of all references to this programme.
