Marathon Petroleum said Friday it is shutting its Garyville refinery in Louisiana, the third largest U.S. oil refinery, following a fire and naphtha leak that forced the evacuation of all residents within two miles of the plant.

What is Naphtha? I glad you asked. Naphtha is any of several highly volatile, flammable liquid mixtures of hydrocarbons distilled from petroleum, coal tar, and natural gas and used as fuel, as solvents, and in making various chemicals.

All the better to cause a crisis with. Now they can needlessly raise gas prices and create more financial pain for the people.
