I went from Kuala Lumpur Maylasia to Krabi Thailand where I stayed a few nights (never ever stay in a "party hostel"). I then boarded a slow ferry for a 2.5 hour trip to from Ao Nang to Koh Phi Phi island and stayed at the Hill & Sea Resort on the main island. While there I did some snorkeling for a full day and got too sun burned to go on a Long Tail Boat island tour unfortunately but I'll do that next time!
