This is an URGENT video reply to Church of God, A Worldwide Association ( COGWA ) pastor James Capo in Phoenix, Arizona. At Sabbath services yesterday, the Christian believers were exposed to a FALSE GOSPEL message that cannot save a single soul. Christ's redeeming work on the cross was minimized. The saving gospel of the bible is NOT to be confused with the announcement about a future Messianic or millennial reign of Christ on this earth in the next age. That is indeed something to look forward to but that is NOT the gospel of salvation that Jesus and the apostles delivered to the first century saints. Pastor James Capo ( perhaps unknowingly ) is delivering a perverted gospel message that MUST be repented of because it is leading the sheep to the slaughter. You cannot receive and embrace a false gospel message and expect salvation. When Jesus Christ and the Apostles spoke of salvation and the kingdom of God, they spoke of both as being a "present reality" in the lives of the believers; not something off in the distant future somewhere some 2000 years down the road. NO WAY !!! SALVATION begins NOW. Deliverance begins NOW in Christ Jesus. Herbert W Armstrong was in gross error and did not understand the gospel of the New Testament. He minimized time and time again our present salvation in Christ Jesus and never wanted to equate that with the gospel. It is high time that Herbert W Armstrong be removed from the throne and replaced with Jesus Christ who is supposed to be the head of the church. The Sabbath Church of God needs to repent and stop acting as though believers are in limbo somewhere between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light.
