Good morning! Yesterday I was doing some reallocation of some of my crypto so I could buy some $OHM tokens. While I am still going to buy some OHM, I found myself getting side-tracked as always. I was reading a medium article posted in the Bankless DAO talking about an opportunity to buy these toilet paper NFTs early as a $BANK token holder. I thought, "Oh great, another dumb NFT clout-flexing project". But I did my due diligence and read the full post. This toilet paper NFT is being minted and the proceeds are being donated to RIP Medical Debt. They are a non-profit that buys medical debt directly from hospitals at pennies on the dollar and randomly pays off people's medical debt. It's absolutely amazing and definitely a cause I can get behind. So I took the money I was going to use to buy OHM tokens and ended up ape-ing into this NFT project. The amazing thing about it is, that when I decide to sell my NFT, RIP Medical Debt still gets proceeds. Each time the NFT sells, a portion of that sale goes to RIP Medical Debt for as long as that NFT exists. Even without the resale of the NFT, the first mint of 10,000 NFT will generate the money to eliminate ~$100,000,000 worth of medical debt for people!
So you think NFT's are stupid, huh? Think again!
