Two people step up into the temple to wish forward in prayer, the one a Pharisee, the other a tax collector.

The Phasrisee is stood towards himself and was praying these things, "God, I am being beautifully cheerfully gracious to you that I am not being just as the remaining others of the people, those rapturing, inequitable, male sexual tramps, or also in that manner this one here the tax collector.

I am fasting twice from the Sabbath, I am tithing a tenth of as much as I acquire."

And the tax collector from a distance had stood, not determining to deliberately lift up the eyes into the heaven, but was pounding into his chest, laying forth in word, "God, be cheerful to me, to the sinner."

I am laying forth to you this one, instead of that one, steps down into his house, having been shown as equitable. That everyone who is raising himself up above will be humiliated into a depression below, but the one humiliating himself into a depression below will be raised up above.
