I recently put together a full review of the literature on M--@sKs. Took me gobs of time, organizing all the highest quality evidence we have on the topic.
That document is here: https://stephdocuments.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/MASKS+-+Review+of+Literature.pdf
This video will discuss the top 2 articles I keep seeing referenced as some "proof" that a dirty piece of cloth grabbed from the car cup holder on the way into the store is saving lives. If only health were that easy.
I still get messages from people who seem to think a review of observational studies is somehow enough to override the dozens of higher quality RCTs we have currently AND that it's enough to just change policy overnight on the entire world seemingly.
Unfortunately most don't understand the fundamental concept of the hierarchy of evidence - all research is not equal. No, "expert opinion" doesn't mean much in the totem pole of evidence.
These things are crucial to understand and the public gets snow balled in the process with that soundbite that use "growing body of evidence."
No there is no growing body of evidence on this, they know what RCTs we have, they know what they say which is why in the beginning they made it clear, all of them, that the general public need not wear them.
The evidence we have shows these medical interventions are next to useless and definitely has never shown to be helpful to stop transmission from people not exhibiting clinical symptoms.
It's really not about the m-@--sK. It's about what is actually happening. The new rules, BioTech, have managed to completely derail how we operate in society. Laws no longer matter, science doesn't, only talking heads on a screen, only feelings and fear, personal accountability definitely has no relevance and now others are responsible for you.
