Your Period is No Excuse to be a Self Centered Woman / Wife / Mom ~ Act Like A Big Girl

Ok this is probably going to get me into trouble. However, I think it needs to be said. Our Monthly Cycle isn’t a justification to become a nasty person. I think a lot of us ladies need to do better here. Too frequently it is an excuse to become nasty and mean. A menstrual period isn’t a license to be a childish brat. We can do better here as ladies. My Mama had zero tolerance for me being unkind during my period. While I am not perfect, I strive to control the snippiness that sometimes rumbles in my heart. Just the act of acknowledging that it isn’t okay allow it to rule you is very important. Just because you feel angry, snippy, mean...doesn't mean you have to act on it.
