Occasionally a comment or statement can come back to life all on its own to be the bane of a Politico or Celebrity, sometimes it is the point where fame, turns to infamy.
So is this one of those times and one of those statements. Anger still remains and relights on this one statement made by Calgary Alberta's Mayor Naheed Nenshi. This time the comments in question were made December 18, 2015.
By December 2019 it seems this has not been forgotten and just before the holiday season it rises again. It seems to have been festering. Now again, Albertans are asking, is Nenshi a racist and does he prioritize Immigrants above Albertans in need?
Double Standards are seemingly the order of the modern day, wielded by the virtue signalling left, echoed in their vacuum chambers and any objections deemed criminal. Don't you just love the "politically correct" world we live in now.
So with no relief in sight for Alberta, more and more pain, suffering and frustration rising, of course the anger rising. Albertans and Calgarians genuinely want to know if this mindset is in part to blame, if he actually is prejudiced against our own, and particularly rural Alberta citizens?
Do you feel that Mayor Nenshi deserves to be in office representing Albertans or do you believe he should resign?
If there is a "socially acceptable" level in the mind of the politically correct, why does this not count? We all know how the Social Justice Warriors of Canada screamed until Don Cherry was removed, why should this offence not demand satisfaction via resignation?
Looking forward to your thoughts as always!
