WATCH: Fireball Streaks Across New Jersey Sky

New Jersey Police Sgt. Michael Virga was on patrol last Saturday around 3:00 a.m when his vehicle’s dash-cam caught a bright fireball streaking across the sky. The fireball is said to be a bolide – an extremely bright meteor. Scientists say it’s about the same brightness of the planet Venus, as seen in the morning or evening sky.
