In this episode, join my good friend Sasha and I on a journey through the process of an oil and oil filter change for his 2001 BMW E46 Estate Diesel. We'll carefully go through each step of this basic service, using essential BMW tools such as the 36mm socket for the oil filter housing and the 17mm socket for the drain plug in the oil pan.

To prevent any future leaks, we will replace all seals we encounter and install a new crush washer. For optimal lubrication and to ensure the longevity of Sasha's BMW diesel engine, we have chosen Mobil 1's 10w-40 oil.

The oil change process shown in this video is not exclusive to Sasha's E46; it can be applied to various BMW E46 models, making it a perfect DIY project that can be tackled entirely at home. I hope you enjoy the new episode!
