Sriman Narayana:
Lord Narayana is more commonly known as the Hindu god Vishnu. Vishnu, along with Brahma and Shiva, is one of the three most important deities in Hinduism. Vishnu is the god of preservation and thus preserves order in the world. In some texts, Narayana is not only the protector of the universe but the universe itself.
Kalki is the prophesied tenth and final incarnation of the god Vishnu. He is described to appear in order to end the Kali Yuga, one of the four periods in the endless cycle of existence (Krita) in Vaishnava cosmology. The end of the Kali Yuga states this will usher in the new epoch of Satya Yuga in the cycle of existence, until the Mahapralaya (dissolution of the universe).
Narayana possesses the chatur-vyuha aspects of Vasudeva, Sankarshana, Pradyumna, and Aniruddha, who evolve one after the other in the development of the universe. In the Mahabharata, Krishna is also synonymous with Narayana and Arjuna is referred to as Nara.
The peace-loving deity of the Hindu Trinity, Sriman Narayana (Maha Vishnu) is the Preserver or Sustainer of life. He is recognized as the God with steadfast principles of order, righteousness and truth. When these values are under threat, Sriman Narayana emerges out of His transcendence to restore peace and order.
