Will Powers, INVERSE NEWS, flees from police firing rubber bullets. On Fourth Street in San Jose, California, what appears to have been a spontaneous peaceful demonstration turned ugly when the police decided to disperse the crowd, on the grounds it was an unlawful demonstration.
In this 1 minute, 25 seconds video clip you will see me swing the camera around as I see a man getting shot in the abdomen and fall to the ground.
The police said it was an unlawful assembly. This is another example of the erosion of our civil liberties in America, we do not have the right to free assembly, when it’s right in the Constitution:
QUOTE:
The First Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the United States Congress from enacting legislation that would abridge the right of the people to assemble peaceably. [1]
But the “Supreme Court of the United States has held that the First Amendment protects the right to conduct a peaceful public assembly.[3] The right to assemble is not, however, absolute.
END QUOTE.

I don’t know how much clearer the Constitution can be, than Congress shall make no law to “abridge the right of the people to assemble peaceably”? But apparently the judicial branch has spoken and now you need a permit to assemble peacefully.
What the founders should have done is put it THIS way: Congress shall pass no law and the judicial branch shall not misinterpret our words and take away people civil liberties.
