IRL Tone Sizzle

This is a tone sizzle I edited for a screenplay I wrote called IRL (In Real Life). For demonstration purposes only.

STORY: A programmer at a social media fights for his life after an online mob calls for his assassination for social justice after he offends a violet social media mob.

I used this sizzle to convey the story and tone of a hypothetical future and film based on the screenplay. I wrote IRL five years ago when cancel culture started going mainstream and around topics that were setting the Internet on fire at the time.

Since then, several of the scenes I wrote seem eerily familiar while others haven't panned out... yet. The screenplay was inspired by Jon Ronson's "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" and the hypothetical concept of assassination markets and blockchain technology that can be used to fund them.
