Artist Bio: Katharticus are a rock group from Dunedin, NZ, with an ethereal brand of experimental rock featuring heart-pounding, soaring guitar and ukulele solos, searching heartfelt lyrics, and wild soulful drums that transcend western convention. The band is known for their mix of catchy rock tunes as well as progressive post rock instrumentals. Their first album, featuring the singles "Kiss Me K8" and "Mouvery Shuffle," attained Album of the Week on Kiwi FM, with "Mouvery Shuffle" staying in their Top 20 for a considerable length of time. The band has also released the studio album 'Metro Angel', an EP 'Blow the Comfort Zone', and the recent single "Wilson Parking".
