This video documents my visit to the abandoned mining town of Wee Win, West Virginia, located just off the South Side Trail in the New River Gorge. Information on Wee Win is scant, just a wee amount for sure, but perhaps the town was founded around 1889? That a 99% guess. As the name suggests, this town was a small operation; however, it did have beehive coke ovens and its own railroad siding. An impressive stone retaining wall remains.
