REPOST: Spot The Aggressor

NATO broke its 1991 promise to Russia to NOT further expand eastward, in exchange for Russia allowing the reunification of East Germany, with West Germany, into a single democratic Germany. Instead NATO massively expanded eastward to bring its nuclear-missile-launching-pads to within 350 miles, less than 5 minutes of missile flight time, of Moscow & St. Petersburg. Plus a bunch of NATO/USA biological-weapons-facilities at same distance. Further, NATO has increasingly morphed ... from a mutual agreement for PURELY-DEFENSIVE purposes ... into an OFFENSIVE WAR MACHINE, aggressing in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan, the Gulf of Aden, Libya and Syria. And, in Syria, NATO forces directly opposed Russian military forces defending the Syrian regime. Little wonder that Russia got tired of backing off one 'red line' after another … and sunk Russia's military teeth into 'no NATO for Ukraine, Finland, Sweden or else.' The three countries that would destroy the last remnants of Russia's non-Arctic-Ocean wartime access to the Atlantic. This time NATO has poked the sleeping Russian bear once too often ... and into a corner ... and the result could well be a nuclear World War III.
