Here is the Bhut Jolokia White Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: - 200,000 ~ 1,041,427 SHU. The Seeds are from a brand new white skinned variety of the Bhut Jolokia from India. Fruits are said to be similar in shape and size to the red version, but ripen to a pale white. We found these to be shorter in size and not as hot as the red ones. Overripe fruits can develop faint blushes of pink. Heat is intense, likely making this the hottest (or at least one of the hottest) white peppers in the world. Open pollinated. 70 days.
