Messengers of Shiloh
MOST RECENT - 4/14/2024 - TERRY BENNETT
timfoster405 - One of THE MOST ignored events in biblical history is the bodily resurrection of the "saints" from Matthew 27 where dead people returned alive to witness to people of Jerusalem on resurrection Sunday. This is ONLY found in the book of Matthew. This storyline begins with those people who were standing at the foot of the cross of Jesus, while He was dying and thought He was "calling Elijah". See the text here:
Matthew 27:47 And some of the bystanders, hearing it, said, “This man is calling Elijah.” 48 And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine, and put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink.
49 But the others said, “Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.” 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.
51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. 52 The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, 53 and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many. 54 When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
This series of events started at 3 PM or the 9th hour on Nisan 14. I would state, this exact set of events is a picture of what's instore for the beginning of Jacob's Trouble, with the calling of Elijah - Malachi 4:5 - the beginning of the "heart turning" phase - aka 'revival'.
I recall being in a church bible study a few years ago and I brought up this resurrection, and the pastor actually said out loud to the group that he was not even sure if this event happened and alluded to satan obscuring the text and inserting this resurrection event into our bibles to throw in confusion. I was horrified when he said this. I was in disbelief that he would limit God's power in this and could not wrap my head around why he would think this way. There is a pervasive theme in regular church settings to limit God's power and make biblical events 'normalized'.
Anyway, I consider these events of Matthew 27:47 to 52 as a picture of what's to come for the start of Elijah's calling to turn the hearts of the people [i.e. revival] in preparation for the second coming of Jesus. It starts with veil being torn - or the sky ripping open for us in the here and now. When the sky is ripped open, this will cause the "signs in the sky" to commence and men's hearts will fail them - See Jesus' words in Luke 21. This will occur suddenly and catch so many people unaware.
What do you think it will be like when formally dead people are witnessing to people who are alive on earth today?
CAN YOU WRAP YOU HEAD AROUND THIS EVENT? WE NEED TO CAST AWAY OUR EARTHLY LIMITATIONS WE PLACE ON OUR GOD ! I SEE THIS EVERYDAY IN CHRISTIANS !
I will routinely ask "Christians" what they think it will be like when Jesus begins His earthly events at the start of His return. Are "Christians" being taught anything like this in the churches? I ask them how things would change on planet earth if formally dead people were back alive and they were witnessing to people who are alive (Daniel 12:2). The usual response is disbelief. They act as if that would never happen. I think to myself the words of Jesus from Luke 24:25 "Oh you foolish ones, why are you so slow to believe...".
I did a bible study and video about these series of events. Go to Holy Spirit and ask Him for the names of anyone that has passed on in your life, who would make a HUGE difference if that person were to return alive and witness to your friends and family during the upcoming "heart turning" phase (revival). Seek actual names and please reply below if you hear from Holy Spirit who these people are are going to be.

P.S. What did God tell Habakkuk?
Hab 1:5 “Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.
