In this study we examine the doctrine of the Trinity as taught in the Bible and church history.

God is one God revealed in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The word “Trinity” is not in the Bible, but the doctrine is there.

It is a doctrine plainly taught in the Bible and we are to believe it by faith. This does not mean we will have perfect understanding of the mysteries of God, but we will accept what the Bible says and not fight against it by twisting certain scriptures out of context. That is something a lost person does.

The Trinity is a foundational doctrine and anyone who denies the Trinity of Persons in the Godhead is a heretic.
