In youth's embrace, I danced with fleeting grace,

At thirty-six, life's rhythm took its toll,

A heart attack, a cold and stark embrace,

Yet hope emerged from deep within my soul.

With every beat, my heart, a fragile bloom,

Once shattered, now in convalescence, mend,

A second chance, in shadows and in gloom,

I find the strength, my spirit to ascend.

Through tears and pain, I faced mortality,

But in the darkness, found a hidden light,

A chance to live with newfound clarity,

To savor life, embrace each day and night.

Recovery's path, a journey, slow and long,

At thirty-six, I find my heart is strong.
