Water Music, HWV 348-350 by George Frideric Handel

Handel composed the three orchestral suites collectively known as the ‘Water Music’ in 1717 on behalf of a request from King George I. The music was premiered in July of 1717 on an arrangement of barges on the river Thames in London. The work is comprised of three suites:
I. Suite in F major (HWV 348)
II. Suite in D major (HWV 349)
III. Suite in G major (HWV 350
