When was the last time you’ve made a list of what’s right with you?

When was the last time you’ve made a list of what’s right with you? And what’s good around you? When was the last time you stopped to look at that plant over there or see what’s behind those rocks? When was the last time you had your hands in some dirt or sand or clay? How long have you gone without floating in some water? When was the last time you filled your lungs with fresh air? There is wonder in life too. Sometimes, you have to look for it. Because you’re too in the moment, it’s hard to see and feel all that is good and new and inspiring. We sometimes get trapped in believing in our past and not in our future. When we’re in this space, we believe the moment is our entire experience and so base our assumptions on it, and make comparisons from it. We fail to see what’s new and unexpected. On the surface, in this moment, it looks just like it’s always looked... and so we believe it is. Over time, we forget what it’s like to wonder. Today, allow yourself the gift of a new start. Look for what’s awesome and unique and beautiful and amazing - you don’t have to search far. Just look under your feet and there is a world to wonder over... and look in the mirror too.
