It was recently released that the motivations behind Steele's dossier were political AND it was known prior to the FBI attempting to obtain a FISA based on the dossier. Keep in mind too, that the dossier was corroborated by a Yahoo news article where CHRISTOPHER STEELE was the source. So he wrote both, it was politically motivated, it was false, and the FBI/DOJ knowingly discounted any lack of credibility towards Steele. Why? Because she was supposed to win.
