On this week’s episode of the Evening Edge, SSG Danilo Pascaretta teams up with Royce Ueoka to talk about his unique experience during and after his service. Ueoka grew up in Hawaii and joined the Army in 1988 as an infantryman and went on to complete airborne school. He served for 23 years before retiring in 2012 as a Master Sgt. Once he retired, Ueoka was hired by MWR Outdoor Recreations and further developed his passion for excitement and outdoor activities like skiing, scuba diving, paddle boarding and, of course, sky diving. In this week’s episode, he talks about how he’s shared these passions with soldiers in U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria year-round. Royce Ueoka is currently the Hohenfels Outdoor Recreation Program Manager.
