40K Battle Report: 1000pt Tyranids vs Primaris Ultramarines - The Relic

Last game of the crusade, Relic, and it’s the final showdown - the Astartes have one final shot at victory.

Having managed to flee Octarius, the Ultramarines decipher the scans that were found at the dig site. The location of the sacred banner ‘Rapture’s Gate’ (given to Guilliman by the Emperor himself) is revealed and the Primaris immediately set course for the Nephilim sector. However, a shard lure wedged in a damaged Stormbird tracks them and when they emerge from the Warp a nearby scout bioship sends a force to intercept and destroy the relic before it can be used to rally imperial forces and hamper the Tyranid advance through the Imperium.
