I'll F#&KING KILL YOU! - Spokane Police De-escalation technique - A review of the coverage

This story broke in Spokane over the summer when it was reported the Spokane Police Guild(police union) was preventing the release of some controversial bodycam footage to members of the Spokane city council. They blocked the release unless the council members signed an agreement not to discuss what they saw and heard with anyone. They refused and made the story public. Of course the officers were found as being justified for their use of force because they followed their training and acted as cowards not the heroes we are told they are. This story focuses on why they were found to be justified in the use of force and the technique they used. They are trained in these techniques and to hold officer safety above all else which results in incidents like this.
