The Democrats believed that the military would get in line with their goals of removing Trump from office through the use of force after their putting the integrity of the election into question. They thought it would be the muscle in their little coup it appears they have been planning for. Too bad for them the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff came out and made it clear it was not going to happen.
