December 30, 2005 Almost died while taking a

On December 30, 2005 - I nearly died, as did about 20 some others via Boiler explosion at Church. There was a Church Lock-in event for the Youth Group (where everyone stays overnight and has fellowship activities). I had to use the bathroom and was going to go to the closest one. Instead, I was compelled to make a detour to the bathroom that was out of the way. While in there, I could smell what i thought was burning, but thought that couldn't be right. I had got a hold of Pastor Mark and brought him back to the bathroom to try and figure out where that was coming from.

"It's the basement, Boiler."

He runs down to the basement and sees that it is on fire. Thankfully, he is a firefighter himself AND there was a Fire Co. right next door to the Church. The Fire Department said it would have been another five minutes, half the church would have been leveled and we would have all died.

God saved me via having to pee and being the only one to go back there in time.

The footage after it was clear to go back in, involves quality cringe.
