That's why they call it "medical practice". They practice on people: trying this, that, and the other.
I was a bit turned off when I specifically asked my dr if I could take something to lesson my chance of a severe reaction, since I've had several. She mentioned "one thing they could try after a reaction started", since I'm now allergic to one that had been used several times before, Solumedrol, which is steroid shot, with the same ingredient they were looking at.
I wanted to prevent any severe reaction from starting in the first place, and I doubt oral prednison will help in this instance. That takes a full week to have full results.🙄🤔
So, I guess I will prevent one from happening, by Not getting it at all.
