The P-47 Thunderbolt, often referred to as the flying jug, was the kind of plane whose role was similar to that of the A-10C Warthog (also known as the Thunderbolt).

This time I'm able to take out medium tanks in Simulator Battles using unguided rockets so long as the hits are direct which means I have to get real close to these targets. After taking out as many as I can, I then move on to cleaning up any howitzers that can be destroyed by a few well-placed shots of the P-47's main guns. Due to its heavy frame, I use its weight to gain as much momentum as I can to quickly climb up after a strafe attack, turn around and try again. If I get chased, I use my momentum to build up speed and get as low and as fast as possible to the trees and houses below hoping to trick the enemy pilot into crashing or discouraging them from chasing me any further.

Oh, and I talk a lot too about my job.
