Sheikh Imran Hossein, among the best Islamic scholars of our time, explains. Delivered 26 Ramzan 1443 / 27 April 2022. To summarize, Dajjal's being blind in one eye is NOT a literal phenomenon, but rather an allegorical one. The two eyes represent reasoning. He is blind in the right eye, meaning that he cannot understand things spiritually. He can only see with the eye of Western reasoning, meaning he is purely secular and bases his knowledge only on empirical (sensory-based) understanding of the world. When Kafir is written on Dajjal's forehead, this means his body, mind, and soul are entirely the product of this evil Western system, so much so that any Mu'min (believer) can detect it. Oh, my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, even if we gain a secular education for livelihood in these modern times, it is important for us to balance this by learning the Qur'an, hadees, and about our Deen in general (including knowledge about Akhir uz-Zaman, the End Times) for our Akhirat, Inshallah. If Dajjal comes back in our life times (Allahu a'lam), may Allah forbid, wouldn't you want to know who to avoid? I provided this picture of Moshe Dayan (1915-81), who some Muslims mistakenly claimed was Dajjal in the 60s and 70s because they misunderstood the hadith. Uploaded to Server 17.
