Churchill will go down, as one of the most hated characters in history. The British will loathe him as their problems worsen and worsen.
He after-all, is responsible for destroying their empire. Chose War rather than being friends with Germany, a nation that is very much related to the Anglo-Saxon peoples. Hitler extended his hand for a peaceful union (Anglo-Germanic alliance) against the Bolshevik menace in the East. Churchill chose War, and now you have a very different & rapidly changing Britain today.

Note: The Allies produced false reports in attempts to convince world powers to side against Germany, and this even includes the Vatican, in their attempt of trying to get Pope Pius XII to go against Hitler and Mussolini, by trying to report to him that there were 'mass extermination' campaigns going on against the Jews in the East, something he never believed in (the 6 million mythos).
