USMC SNIPER LEGEND CARLOS HATHCOCK II - "HIS OWN WORDS" - 1993 INTERVIEW

Legendary Marine sniper from the War in Vietnam gives his only taped, sit-down interview. With 93 confirmed kills and over 300 probables (per his own testimony), Hathcock II, from Arkansas, is regarded as the most prolific American in his field of work. In this interview, he gives some of the greatest insight into the psychology and advanced peculiarities of being a sniper, and what it takes to live to tell about it. He goes over some of his most legendary feats, including the "shot through the scope" which was immortalised in graphic detail from "Saving Private Ryan", his one man mission into enemy territory to kill a top NVA general, and his run-in with the sadistic woman that castrated/murdered one of his men in front of him, Apache. Hathcock II died 6 years later in 1999.
