The fruits of Dispensationalism 2 - Plymouth Brethren / Exclusive Brethren

This is a copy of a documentary about the Exclusive Brethren called 'Separate Lives - Exclusive Brethren in Australia', aired on Four Corners in 2006. It demonstrate us the fruits of Dispensationalism, a doctrine started by John Nelson Darby on the 19 century - a man who supposedly had a "vision/revelation" from God on how to "correctly" interpret the Bible. Families torn apart. Wives ordered to leave their husbands. Children separated from their parents. And all in the name of God. The Exclusive Brethren have long been revered as a Christian congregation of simple, God-fearing folk. But ever since their leader, the "Man of God", ordered them to withdraw from society and stop socialising with people outside the movement, concerns about the group have been growing. In this moving, personal documentary, ex-members tell their story.


"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
