How I Escaped Human Trafficking While on Vacation

I narrowly escaped being raped and left for dead while on vacation in Mazatlan Mexico in the 80's, while on vacation with my mother. I was about 21, very naiive and far too trusting.
(I am not naming the hotel for obvious reasons and unable to locate a photo from '85)

PLEASE do not underestimate the manipulative tricks and tools of predators who want to con you into having a drink with them, a nice meal, a pleasant fun time together - ***Especially while on holiday/vacation.

Predators can use women with babies in strollers to lower your guard and gain your trust (like in local parks in your local area where you live)
Predators can be employees of hotels you are staying at
Predators can work at restaurants where you are eating and drinking
Never go in someone's car whom you dont know!
Never leave your food or drink alone with any stranger
Never go to anyone's hotel room on vacation
