There was a live action movie and TV drama special made for the Miyuki series. The movie was made in the same year when the Miyuki anime came out. Unfortunately, I could not find the live action movie anywhere on the internet. There are some places on the internet that claimed to have it however I don’t see the proof on such claims. I think those sites might be a scam to watch it from there. However, there is another adaption to the Miyuki series released on TV in 1986. It is odd to see this version appear on YouTube when I looked at it first. I didn’t believe it at all if it was real, but it is true that there is a Miyuki TV show that was made when I carefully examine it to see if it was legit. I have to say the TV adaption has some scenes that comes form the anime, however it feels entirely different when I watched the film. I have to say the anime was better than the TV live action.
Miyuki (1986) Main Characters Staring:
Masato Wakamatsu as Makoto Nonomura
Miyuki Wakamatsu as Sonoko Kawai
Miyuki Kashima as Sonoko Kawai
Yes, you did not read that wrong about the two Miyukis are being portrayed by same person Sonoko Kawai.
Also, one more thing to note. There are no English subtitles for this movie as I wasn’t able to fine one with it. I only found a raw version of it that is still floating on YouTube. That is all for the Miyuki series here for now today. Maybe one day I will return back to the series if I find more information in the future. Hopefully, you will enjoy that TV drama special here on Bitchute.
