Trigonometric Substitution for Integrals: Example 4
In this video I go over another example on trig substitution for integrals and this time go through an example where sometimes it is possible and easier to solve the integral without having to resort to trig substitution. In this example I solve the integral of the function x/(sqrt(x^2 + 4)) and solve it using both trig substitution and regular substitution to illustrate how sometimes it is easier to use regular substitution.
