Some Amazon shareholders are concerned about the company's facial recognition software being sold to law enforcement, but not enough want to stop or investigate how it's being used. A UK court says there's no legal framework yet to rule on a facial recognition case brought against the police, so the first ruling will set legal precedent. A bipartisan bill introduced to the US Senate last week is trying to tackle the lack of legislation around Artificial Intelligence and hopes to keep the US at the forefront of this rapidly advancing technology.
