Stealing 4 guns that cost $7,000 each

… You shouldn’t stop to eat at IHOP with $28,000 worth of guns just sitting in the back of your pick up truck… maybe at least cover em up with a tarp or something.
I think I could make a strong case for justified theft here… “I just like big guns, if I hadn’t grabbed em, some criminal probably would have, so the public is better served by my action, despite the monetary loss by the careless victim”.
So 6 months probation, tops, if he ends up getting caught… if I was the judge … and no drug testing. Probation on top of working for a living is stressful enough, I couldn’t rightfully deny the guy a little bit of weed at the end of a busy day… that gets into cruel and unusual right there, in my humble opinion. Ok ok… in my opinion.
