ABOUT AVI LIPKIN…
Dennis Avi Lipkin grew up in the greater New York City area and attended New York University and Hebrew University in Israel, majoring in Sovietology and Spanish/Latin American studies. He later attended Jewish Theological Seminary as part of their MA program.
Avi served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) beginning in1972 as an IDF Spokesman for the Judea and Samaria Command under Lt. Col Rafael Horovitz and later was an officer in the IDF Spokesman’s Office, and a senior translator in the Israel Ministry of Tourism.
In 1989 and 1990, Avi worked as senior editor and translator in the News Department of Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir’ Government Press Office before launching a 28-year lecture circuit to over 1,000 churches and synagogues in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Norway, Finland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Russia, Austria, Poland and Israel. Avi has also appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows including Fox News Channel.
An accomplished author, Avi Lipkin has written seven books: Is Fanatic Islam a Global Threat?, Christian Revival for Israel’s Survival, Islamic Threat Updates Almanac #1, Israel’s Bible Bloc, Islam Prophesied In Genesis, Return to Mecca, and Islamic Rivalry.
Dennis Avi Lipkin is founder of the first-ever Judeo-Christian Bible Bloc political party, called “Gush Hatanakhi” in Hebrew, and is hopeful to gain some Knesset seats in the next election.
Avi is married to Rachel, an Egyptian born Jewess who made Aliyah (immigrated) to Israel in 1969 and worked for Israel’s Radio service in Arabic for 30 years, monitoring Arabic language broadcasts on radio and TV as well as newspapers. Together they have two sons and 9 grandchildren.
