People are really that afraid of their mind (the true god and proud of their brain (demigod), that they refuse to tell you why (except by projecting their fears on you. an "individualist" or multifaceted "conspiracy theorist". The fear that their demigod brain isn't more powerful than the true god (mind) and have to come to terms with having lived out of harmony with what appear to be the higher authority they fear.
