3. The real division
Orwell is credited with the phrase: "The real division is not between conservatives and revolutionaries but between authoritarians and libertarians."
In this video I show how that is true and how it can be rewritten as follows:
“The real division is not between authoritarians and libertarians but between affiliatives and pragmatics.”
One of the ways personalities can be grouped is through their affiliative or pragmatic orientation. Affiliatives identify more with interdependence and the collective, while pragmatists with independence and individuality.
There are 8 affiliative types and 8 pragmatic types. According to Truity.com, affiliatives make up approximately 64% of the general population, while according to CS Joseph, they only represent 55%. In either case, the affiliatives are in the majority, while the pragmatics are in the minority, so it is technically easier to steer a society towards a collectivist system, since the majority identifies to some degree with the philosophy behind said system.
The main differences between the two groups are explained and detailed in the video, for which excerpts from interviews are also included where it is possible to observe how these differences are explicitly manifested.
In the current context, affiliatives are going to be more inclined and willing to wear face masks, inject chemicals and obey the orders of the authorities, while the opposite will happen with pragmatics, as they will be more resistant and unwilling to wear face masks, inject chemicals and blindly obey authority. In this sense and in general terms, the affiliatives will be more inclined to "cooperate" convinced that they are doing "the right thing", while the pragmatics will see all these measures as limitations or impositions and will reject their obligation or strict follow-up when they do not see it necessary.
This is a good example of what I mean: https://www.bitchute.com/video/hPKVDC40LnRh/
Affiliatives' arguments can only make any sense if the assumptions that give life to the "pandemic" narrative as painted by the media and “official” institutions are accepted. That is: that germ theory is true, that there is a new virus that causes an infectious disease that can be easily spread from person to person through droplets when talking or even breathing near someone. That is what they base their behavior on and the conviction that a damp, sweaty, dirty and dusty piece of cloth will prevent said contagion. Later I will show how a lie can be passed off as truth in society. As long as these assumptions remain valid in people's minds, then there will always be an excuse not to return to "normality" and return power to the affiliatives (majority) to impose on the minority (pragmatics).
It is in moments of crisis where these differences become more visible and rivalry increases, since it is when society is more willing to allow sacrifices, to put the collective above the individual and to obey "for the common good". Whether it is the illusion of a pandemic, the threat of an invisible enemy, an invasion that only exists on television, a blackout or an environmental disaster, in emergency situations (fictional or real), the forces of society favor “cooperation” and stigmatize those who don't. The authorities take more control and apply stricter measures, restricting the fundamental freedoms of the population. Given that the majority is affiliative, they will accept these measures and will be convinced of their usefulness, urgency and necessity, imposing them on the rest of society.
We could consider that a good part of the history of humanity has consisted precisely in the struggle of both philosophies in their different manifestations, whether between capitalists against communists, between slave and abolitionist states, between independence against foreign domination, between the monarchy and the republic, between totalitarianism and democracy, etc. That is, between freedom and oppression. Between the individual and the collective. Between autonomy and subordination. Between authoritarianism and liberalism. Between choice and imposition. Currently does not seem to be the exception.
